Juneid Patel is a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist with over 17 years of service at Optical Express. His extensive knowledge and expertise span across comprehensive eye care, including contact lens fittings, advanced diagnostic imaging and pre- and post-operative refractive care. He is also certified in Independent Prescribing, enabling him to diagnose and prescribe medications for a variety of eye conditions, enhancing patient care and treatment efficiency.
Juneid's professional journey began with a solid academic foundation, including a degree from the University of Manchester. His clinical expertise is complemented by a wide range of skills in using advanced diagnostic technologies such as OCT, fundus imaging and corneal topography. In addition, he liaises with the Royal Bolton Hospital on specialist eye examination schemes and cataract referrals.
In 2018, Juneid received a Diploma in Therapeutics: Independent Prescribing, allowing him to provide comprehensive treatment for anterior eye conditions and foreign body removal. His daily collaboration with Ophthalmologists has further enriched his proficiency in managing a variety of complex eye conditions, including dry eye, corneal issues and acute eye queries.
