Mr Paul Swansbury is an Optometrist with degrees in Physics and Optometry as well as a PhD in Physical Chemistry and another in Industrial Supervision. His optometry career began on the high street, supervising pre-reg optometrists and pre-reg contact lens Dispensing Opticians (DO). In 2017 Paul was contacted by Optical Express, and he then became one of our optometrists. Paul trained to assess people for ocular surgeries and learned how to carry out post-operative care, allowing Paul to enter a new area of optometry.
Daily, Paul carries out care of post-operative patients and assesses patients for surgical treatments and complex care management. He enjoys meeting new patients daily and working with brilliant teams within Optical Express.
