BSc (Hons)
Ms Rejoice Bangure joined us at Optical Express in 2021, with a pre-registration position at the Cambridge clinic. Her choice to work with Optical Express was motivated by the opportunity to specialise in the refractive side of the company, after receiving a degree in BSc (Hons) in Optometry from Anglia Ruskin University. She is also a member of the College of Optometrists and Association of Optometrists.
In 2024, Rejoice started her training as part of her progression, communicating with our surgeons regularly, allowing her to observe and learn how surgeons interpret results. A day at Optical Express for Rejoice consists of seeing post-operative patients, a variety of sight tests and contact lens appointments and pre-assessments for cataract surgery of NHS patients.
Rejoices favourite part of her role is the variety, no day is the same and she enjoys the balance between the surgery side and the high street, getting the chance to see both sides of primary and secondary care.
