As a leader in eye care and refractive surgery, Optical Express has relaunched its “A Day in the Life” programme, an exclusive opportunity for qualified, GOC-registered optometrists to gain firsthand experience in refractive surgery.
Participants will shadow experienced Optical Express optometrists and ophthalmic surgeons, observing live surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative consultations, and working with state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies. This immersive experience is designed to enhance clinical knowledge, offering invaluable insight into the patient journey through refractive and cataract surgery. The programme focuses on key objectives, including informed patient communication, professional development and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
